Who can use it
Only people the family's admin has added to the list can use the app. Anyone else who signs in can only send a request to join, which the admin accepts or rejects.
Children
The app is for families. A parent opens the account and sets up each child. From a child we collect only a first name, a grade, the answers given and the time taken. We never collect a child's email, photo or voice recording. Only a parent can pay or see billing.
Voice help: the child's phone or browser turns speech into words, and the app receives only the text of what was said. Some browsers do this with a service run by the browser maker, so check your browser's own privacy page. The text is used to find an explanation, and we do not save it in that step.
What we keep
- From Google sign-in: your email address and the name on your Google account. We do not receive your password, contacts, files or anything else from your Google account.
- For each child: a first name and a school grade, entered by the parent or the admin.
- Practice records: the tests taken, the answers given, the scores, and when each question was seen and answered, so a parent can follow progress.
- Parents' email addresses: the addresses a parent saves for the mother and the father, used only to send them a child's test results when the child taps Send to my parents. A parent can change or remove them at any time.
- Billing: a Stripe customer id, the plan status and the renewal date. Never a card number.
Photos of notes
When you use "Test from a photo or notes", the photos are sent to Anthropic's Claude to read the topics on the pages. The app keeps only a short text summary of the topics, not the photos.
Who else handles the data
- Cloudflare hosts the app and stores the records.
- Google handles sign-in.
- Anthropic writes new practice questions and reads photos of notes. Questions are written from the topic and grade only; no name or email is sent with them.
- ElevenLabs makes the audio when the app reads an explanation aloud. We send the text of the explanation. No name or email goes with it.
- Resend delivers the test result emails. It receives the parent's address, the child's first name, and the questions and answers in that email.
- Stripe takes payments. Payment details go to Stripe, not to us. We keep only a customer id, the plan status and the renewal date.
We do not sell data, show advertising, or share records with anyone else.
Your choices
You can see and delete your family's data, and you can cancel the plan at any time with Manage billing in the app. The admin can remove an account and its history from the Admin page. To ask for anything else, write to hello@resforme.com.
