Who we are
ExamForMe is run by ResForMe LLC, a New York limited liability company. Address: [ResForMe LLC, New York address]. Contact: hello@resforme.com.
Who may use it
A parent or legal guardian opens the account. Children use the app under their parent's account. The parent is responsible for the account and for what happens in it.
The family plan
The family plan gives one family all grades and subjects, for up to 3 children. It costs $6.99 a month or $59 a year. Sales tax is added where a state charges it [sales-tax collection to be confirmed by the accountant]. Only a parent can buy the plan. Children never see a price or a card form.
Free trial
The first 14 days are free. We take the card when you sign up, and nothing is charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged.
Auto-renewal
- The plan renews automatically, each month or each year, at the price then in force, until you cancel.
- To cancel, open Manage billing in the app. It opens Stripe's billing page. One click cancels. You do not need to call or write to us.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. You keep the plan until then.
- We send a reminder email before a yearly renewal [timing to be confirmed by an attorney].
- The price can change only with at least 30 days of notice by email.
Refunds
We do not refund part of a period that is unused, unless a law requires it. A wrong charge, or a charge made after you cancelled, is refunded in full. A double charge is refunded. To ask, write to hello@resforme.com.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment page.
What stays free
Official Regents and State exam questions stay free, up to two tests a day for each child.
Fair use
- One family uses one account. Do not share the account outside your household.
- Do not scrape or copy the question bank.
- Do not resell the app or its content.
Our content and the official questions
The practice questions written for the app belong to ResForMe LLC. Regents and State test questions are published by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and are reproduced here for practice. ExamForMe is not affiliated with NYSED, the Regents or any school.
Accuracy
Practice questions may hold mistakes. Use the Report this question button when you see one. The app is a study aid. It does not promise any exam result.
Ending the service or an account
We may close an account that breaks these terms. If we stop the service, we refund the unused part of any paid period.
Changes to these terms
We tell you about changes by email or in the app. For anything that costs more, we give at least 30 days of notice.
Governing law
These terms follow New York law, and disputes go to the courts of New York. Nothing here takes away rights you have under the law of your own state.
